Student Research Team


Rayana (she/her) is an incoming PhD student and current graduate student in the Family Relations and Human development program at the University of Guelph. Having completed degrees in Psychology (B.A.) with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Balamand, and Clinical Psychology (M.Sc.) from the University of Groningen, her research interests include the human-animal relationship and expectations, interspecies displacement, and everyday cohabitation practices. Rayana lives in Toronto with her feline co-researchers, Chat and Penny, and carries the memory of her first feline teacher, Snowy. Her extended multispecies family includes dogs, Shadow and Zeus.
